The novel “Nepal Putra,” translation in English “Son of Nepal,” is based on Nepalese political scenario prior to 1998. During the period, Nepal was going through violent people’s war waged by the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), where thousands of Nepalese people were killed by security forces and Maoist rebels. The novel portrays previous and existing scenario, and discusses about the logical end of the civil war.
